Apply as a Team for the Best Chance of Selection
We strongly encourage applicants to apply as a team.
While individual applications are welcome, teams of two or more people are more likely to be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
If you already have teammates, all members should register together as a single team using one application form. Please do not submit separate applications for the same team.
Don't have a team yet? You can still apply individually, and we'll do our best to connect you with potential teammates before the program begins.
Who Can Apply?
The Cyber Valley AI Incubator welcomes researchers, scientists, engineers, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals interested in building AI-driven solutions.
Whether you're working in machine learning, robotics, computer vision, intelligent systems, healthcare AI, generative AI, or another AI-related field, the incubator is designed to help you transform your idea into a startup-ready venture.
You don't need previous startup or founding experience—just curiosity, commitment, and the motivation to build something impactful.
Selection Criteria
Applications are evaluated holistically, with a focus on identifying motivated participants who have innovative AI ideas and a strong interest in entrepreneurship. In our review process, we consider the originality and potential impact of the idea, the motivation of the applicant or team, the technical background and expertise of the participants, and their commitment to actively participating throughout the program.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need previous startup experience?
No. The program is designed for first-time founders as well as participants with entrepreneurial experience.
Can I apply without a team?
Yes. Individual applications are welcome. However, teams of two or more are considerably more likely to be shortlisted. If you don't yet have teammates, you can still apply individually and we'll help facilitate team formation before the program begins.
Do I need a finished product or prototype?
No. Ideas at any stage—from an early concept to an existing research project or prototype—are welcome.
How often does the incubator run?
The Cyber Valley AI Incubator runs twice each year, with cohorts in spring and autumn.
